IMPORTANT THINGS TO BRING

PERSONAL ITEMS:

We suggest that guests transport all medications in their carry-on luggage to minimize the possibility of medication diversion or loss and recommend that all medications remain in their original labeled prescription containers.  It is also advisable to carry at least three days of extra medication in case of an unexpected change in the travel itinerary.

Other important items to keep on hand:

  • Passports, ID, Green Card
  • Luggage tags (printable from your Royal Caribbean account)
  • Bible
  • Journal
  • Devotionals
  • Personal toiletries
  • Metal water bottle

CLOTHES:

When you're on board, the appropriate look will vary depending on location. But here are some types of suggested clothing you'll see, grouped by occasion. Shoes must be low heels for deck activities. Bring a few swimsuits (so you'll always have a dry one). On land, you will need comfortable walking shoes.

In Mexico the weather is warm, wear a hat to protect yourself from the sun.

Casual

You're on vacation – relax! Jeans, shorts, tees, tank tops, polos, sundresses and blouses are all the right amount of laid back. Please keep swimwear to the Pool Deck.

Other items to pack are:

  • Light sweater or jacket for meeting rooms (sometimes they are cold) or for evenings walks on the ship deck.
  • Sunscreen
  • Insect repellent (for excursions)
  • Hats
  • Flip flops
  • Water shoes
  • Comfotable walking shoes
  • Long sleeve shirts for sun protection
  • Metal water bottle for excursions
  • Small backpack for excursions
  • Snorkle gears for excursion
  • Bring your own towels for day excursion

Smart Casual

Think of this as a step up from your typical dinner wear. Dress to impress with jackets, sports coats, blazers, collared shirts, dresses, skirts and blouses, or pantsuits.

FRIDAY night formal:

Dinner and Communion Service will require formal attire which can include– suits and ties, tuxedos, cocktail dresses or evening gowns.

SUNDAY Evening Wedding Vow Renewal

  • Ladies: White beach dress
  • Gentlemen: White beach shirt / khaki pants

Last night of cruise

Bring an overnight bag for your last night at sea. Staff will collect your luggage the night before disembarkation and you will need an overnight bag to carry your nightclothes and toiletries.

CASH FOR:

  • House keeping services (tips)
  • Personal purchases

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO 24 HOURS BEFORE BOARDING THE CRUISE?

Here are some things you need to know about those moments just before you hop onboard.
  1. For the first day of your cruise, pack a small carry-on bag with your travel documents, a change of clothes, bathing suit, workout clothes and any medications you may need. That way you don't have to wait for your checked bags to arrive in your stateroom to start having fun.
    •
  2. If you have never been to the port of departure before, this is the address of Pier 10 where the cruise will depart: 1402 Harborside Drive Galveston, TX 77550.
    •
  3. If you have not reserved your parking yet, do so as soon as possible (see the information at the top of this page)
    •
  4. We highly recommend that you take advantage of the online Check-in that is open now and up to 72 hours prior to your sailing. This way, you can have the smoothest pier check-in and boarding.
    • Royal Caribbean International requires guests to be checked in no later than 60 minutes, sometimes 90 minutes, prior to the scheduled sailing time. Guests arriving late will not be permitted to sail.
    •
  5. Download the Royal Caribbean App and log in to your Cruise Planner prior to your sailing to book dining reservations, entertainments on select sailings. This way you can spend your first day onboard exploring.
    •
  6. Your luggage tags will be included in your Guest Ticket Booklet. Please print as many copies as you need to make sure all your bags have their own luggage tag. This will help us easily identify your bags and have them delivered to your room while you explore the ship.
